With the hype and expectations high on the day of the meet, the Lady Eagles faced an opponent they haven't seen in a while-warmer weather.
The temperature reached the mid-70s and the air was dry and windy, which were conditions the RCHS team hadn't experienced in a while. The team had been training and competing in temperatures at least 15 degrees cooler.
