Certificates bestowed upon GED graduates

The Rhea County General Education Development (GED) commencement ceremony was held June 18 at the Rhea County High School Little Theatre. County executive Billy Ray Patton, county school board chairman Ron Masterson and Jim Cobb (in absentee) gave commencement speeches. Nineteen locals received certificates of recognition at the ceremony comprising of (in alphabetical order) David Baker, Priscilla Brackins, Curtis Daniels, Nikki Giles, Craig Groce, Brittany Holland, Patsy Holloway, Jason James, Thomas Johnson, Kristina Jordan, Juston Keylon, Brittany Lambertino, George LeMay, Juanita Malone, Rosie Neal, Jesse Onopa, James Revis, Beverly Riggs, Aaron Smith, Ben Stone and Barbara Tickle. In addition, Rosie Neal received the Eleanor Williams Award and Ben Stone received the Max Brown Merit Award.
