Despite an 8-0 run to start the game, an off the bench 21-point effort by Rhea County High School Eagle point guard Noel Patterson and five treys and 19 points from the red hot Logan Hunter, the Eagles came up a little short to the Soddy-Daisy Trojans at home on Tuesday in a 71-61 setback.
Bryan Harrison hit a fade away jumper to open the scoring for the Eagles, and Hunter followed with his first 3-pointer of the game. Harrison then hit the first of his two treys of the contest to help Rhea to its 8-0 advantage in the opening minutes of the game and a 13-10 lead headed to the second period.
