“If you work at Rhea Medical Center, if you punch in and out, if you come to work, then you had a hand in making us successful. It was a success that needs to be shared by every person in that organization.” Rhea Medical Center Quality Director Brandi Lytle, RN, said following the completion of the accreditation survey by The Joint Commission in November.
According to their website, www.jointcommission.org, The Joint Commission is an independent, not-for-profit organization that accredits and certifies more than 20,000 health care organizations and programs in the United States. Their accreditation and certification is nationally recognized and reflects an organization’s commitment to meeting certain performance standards.
