Rhea County Director of Schools Jerry Levengood is speaking out about a nearly $9,500 credit card charge that was originally declined during an education conference in Nashville last month.
County finance officials said in late October that the original declination of the charge stemmed from the fact that there was previously unknown debt on the account.
