The Rhea Middle School [RMS] Eagles’ football team played for the big school division Clinch Valley Football League Championship against the Robertsville Rams at Oak Ridge High School on Thursday, Oct. 10, but suffered a 34-14 defeat in the rematch between the two talented teams.
RMS went into the game with a 4-3 record and had only sustained one conference loss, which was against the Rams on Sept. 19, by a 28-20 score, which was the largest margin of victory in all the RMS losses on the season.
