At a town hall meeting on Thursday, State Rep. Ron Travis, R-Dayton, said that the controversial legislation that would allow wine to be sold in grocery stores in the state would likely be put to the people for a vote.
Travis said that after the measure failed in the previous legislative session, lawmakers were currently considering placing the issue on a statewide ballot and allowing the public to decide the issue.
