In its District 6-AAA opener, the Rhea County High School Eaglesí football team improved to 2-0 after defeating the White County Warriors 33-6 on Friday at Eagle Stadium.
The decisive win sent a message to Eaglesí new district, because the Warriors were picked higher than Rhea in the media preseason poll.
