A Spring City man is still in jail after allegedly beating a Graysville man severely enough to require an emergency airlift to a hospital in Chattanooga.
At an arraignment hearing on Friday, Nathan McCampbell, 26, of Sandtown Road in Spring City, requested bond from Rhea County General Sessions Judge Jimmy McKenzie; however, McKenzie said that since McCampbell refused to submit to a drug screen, he would have to consider the matter further before setting a bond amount.
