During the Spring City Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors meeting on Aug. 12, elections were held for various officer positions including the re-election of Jim Reed as chamber president for his 10th consecutive year.
He was first elected as Spring City Chamber President in 2003.
“We are proud to have Jim serve an additional term and are looking forward to another great year,” chamber officials said in a press release.
Other Board of Directors positions were filled during the meeting.
Those were as follows: Stephania Motes, vice president; Ryon McKinney, secretary; and Jim Baldwin, treasurer.
The new officers’ term will begin Sunday, Sept. 1
