It could be said that Dayton 10-year-old baseball player Cooper Kinney lived the dream of most kids his age this past summer by competing in a multi-state southeast regional tournament in Spartanburg, S.C.
This past summer, Kinney played for the Georgia Bandits, a Major Division team located in Chickamauga, Ga. His team is part of the United States Specialty Sports Association [USSSA] travel baseball organization, which is prevalent across the Southeast.
