Whether anyone at UTC’s Finley Stadium saw it coming, the Eagles of Rhea County High School used their ground game and punched the Ooltewah Owls’ defense in the mouth during the Chattanooga area Best of Preps Jamboree on Saturday night with 12 carries for 125 yards and two touchdowns.
Eagles’ fullback Jacob York blasted his way through the Owls by tacking up 95 yards on five carries and scored two touchdowns from 24 and 38 yards to help Rhea secure the 14-7 win in the 20-minute quarter that had a continuous running clock.
