A north Rhea County fire that burned for nearly 24 hours before being discovered completely destroyed an Evensville home on Sunday, according to a county fire report.
On Sunday, homeowner Charles S. Daniels left his home on Neck Road in Evensville, the report states, to visit a friend in Crossville, Tenn. Daniels told fire investigators that the only appliances left on during his absence were ceiling fans.
