RCHS sophomore Eagle receiver Noel Patterson eludes defenders at a scrimmage on Friday at Eagle Stadium against the Farragut Admirals. During the play, Patterson caught a five-yard pass from quarterback Austin Dotson, then shook, juked and darted 50 yards for a touchdown. Patterson scored three touchdowns on the evening, including a 70-yard reception and an interception return.

The Rhea County High School Golden Eagles’ football team went toe-to-toe with the Farragut Admirals on Friday at Eagle Stadium during their first preseason scrimmage, complete with referees and a chain crew.
In a game-type setting minus a game clock, the Eagles found themselves down 14-0 early, but fought back with a touchdown run by Joby Berry inside the Admirals’ 10-yard line to cut the lead in half.
