At a workshop Thursday, the Dayton City Council discussed the prospect of adding customers to a small sewer line in the Frazier community and the possibility of a moratorium imposed by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation [TDEC] due to sewer overflows experienced this year.
The issue of adding customers to a three-inch line in the Frazier area was brought up in a recent monthly meeting, but the council decided at the time that more research was needed to determine how much more capacity the small line has left.
