The Rhea County Commission voted on Tuesday to officially join the Retire Tennessee program, which is a state-wide initiative to attract retirees to the Volunteer State.
There are now 16 counties in the Retire Tennessee program, and they are featured on the program’s website, retiretennessee.org, listed in handouts at trade shows and appear in ads in various retirement publications.
