Students who did not attend school in the Rhea County School System during the School Year 2012-2013 and students who will be changing schools in the Rhea County School System during School Year 2013-2014 can register early by going to their respective school.
Excluded from the early registration are rising ninth graders who registered at Rhea County High School this spring, rising sixth graders at Rhea Middle and Spring City Middle who registered in the spring and Kindergarten students who registered in the spring.
Registration requirements for new students previously enrolled in another school system last year are a 2012-2013 report card; name, address and phone number of last school attended; immunization records; social security number and proof of residence (most recent utility bill with correct address — not post office box).
Students who will be entering school for the first time must bring their birth certificate or hospital record, immunization and medical record (green form), social security number and proof of residence. Kindergarten students must be 5-years-old on or before Aug. 31, 2013.
Early Registration Dates for grades K-5 schools (Frazier, Graysville, Rhea Central and Spring City) is Monday, July 29 - 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; for grades 6-8 schools (Rhea Middle and Spring City Middle) is Wednesday, July 24 - 8 a.m. to noon and for Rhea County High School are Monday, Aug. 5 through Friday, Aug. 9 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
High school students must call RCHS at 285-6833 to make an appointment to register or send an email to the following counselors:
