What started as a trip to the dump has put Michael Black on a solitary journey that will take him all the way to Oklahoma.
“About five months ago, I was going to the dump and I saw this sign that said ‘Trail of Tears,’” Black said. “I’ve had a lot of experience and encounters with the Native Americans and the Cherokees in California. I would go to some of their celebrations.”
