The Division of Nursing and Allied Health at Chattanooga State Community College will present a series of information sessions during the month of July for anyone interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare field. Topics of discussion will include the application process, admission requirements, the selection process, curriculum details, licensing and credentialing examinations, career opportunities and more. All of the information sessions will be held in the Health Science Center (HSC) on the main campus.
On July 9, information sessions for the registered nursing program are scheduled for 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on the first floor of the HSC in room 1083. Reservations are not required. Attendance is strongly encouraged, but not mandatory for admission into the program. The deadline to apply to the nursing program is spring 2014.
The radiologic technology program will hold its information session July 11 in room 2060 on the second floor of the HSC at 3:30 p.m. Attendance at one information session is required for admittance to the radiologic technology program. A reservation is not necessary to attend. The deadline to apply to the radiologic technology program is spring 2014.
The emergency medical services program has added two additional information sessions that are scheduled for 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on July 3 and 17 in room 105 on the first floor of the HSC. Attending one of the two-hour information sessions is required for admission to the program, but reservations are not needed to attend.
