Castrol Pro Angler David Dudley to appear at customer appreciation day event.
Castrol Pro Angler David Dudley, the career leader in FLW tour earnings and three time FLW Angler of the Year, will be on hand to sign autographs and answer consumer questions Saturday, June 22, at the Rhea County Express Lube located at 7277 Rhea County Highway in Dayton.
Dudley will be on-site from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. In addition to signing autographs, the Castrol Pro Angler will demonstrate fishing techniques and tips, and also conduct a casting contest.
Additional Customer Appreciation Day festivities will include $10 off all Castrol Oil changes and free pizza from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Dudley is three-time winner of FLW’s coveted Angler of the Year trophy. Dudley’s dominating 2012 season included wins at Beaver Lake and Lake Champlain, followed by a third-place at the Potomac and a top-10 finish at the Forrest Wood Cup on Lake Lanier (fifth). Under 18 Club Soccer- Bridge F.C. invites soccer players ages 13-17 to try out for Rhea County’s club soccer team on Saturday, June 22, at 11 a.m.

The GOLDEN EAGLE TENNIS CAMP will be held Monday, July 8, through Thursday, July 11, with Friday, July 12, set aside for rain date if needed. Rhea County High School tennis coaches Nathan Talley and Lil Andrews are directing the annual tennis camp for boys and girls, ages 6-17 at the Delaware Avenue tennis courts in Dayton.
The daily hours for the camp will be 8:30—11:30 a.m. Various age and ability groups are accommodated on separate courts. Breakfast and lunch, as well as snacks and prizes, are provided. The cost is $50 per camper, or $90 for two siblings and $120 for three or more siblings. The RCHS Touchdown Club is sponsoring the Rhea County Golden Eagle Football Golf Tournament on Wednesday, July 17, at the Dayton Golf and Country Club, with registration and lunch at 11:30 a.m. and tee-off at 1 p.m.
The four-person select shot tournament will present prizes to the first, second and third-place finishers, along with door prizes and goody bags and prizes for the longest drive and closest to the pin.

The Rhea County Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) will host its annual camp at Rhea County High School from Monday, July 15, through Thursday, July 18, and will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and 5-9 p.m onThursday.
The cost is $40 per camper, which includes a t-shirt for the week and lunch daily. Campers will compete in various sports such as touch football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, and soccer. Campers will also participate in daily devotions and praise and worship time. Huddle leaders will be current and former RCHS players and coaches. Sign up now for the RCHS Golden Eagle golf team annual select shot golf tournament, which is scheduled for Wednesday, July 31, with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. and lunch at noon at the Dayton Golf and Country Club.
The tournament entry fee is $60 per player and 240.00 for a 4-person team. 2-man teams are also welcomed.
