Rhea County could be facing a lawsuit from ousted former election administrator Theresa Snyder, county officials announced during a finance committee meeting on Wednesday.
Rhea County Commissioner Bill Hollin said during the meeting that the county had received a letter implying that a nearly $50,000 lawsuit could be pending if the county does not pay the former election head for comp time and overtime.
