Several Rhea County residents were among the students at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville to be named to the Dean's List for the Spring 2013 academic term.
To qualify for the dean's list, an undergraduate student must earn a term grade point average of 3.80-4.00 (summa cum laude), 3.65-3.79 (magna cum laude), or 3.50-3.64 (cum laude). Students must complete at least 12 credit hours, not counting work taken on a satisfactory/no-credit basis, to be eligible.
Students from Rhea County that were named to the Dean's List are William L. Bowman, Tyler M. Brown, Timothy W. Cook, Ashley E. Ellis, Meredith L. Farnsworth, Matthew J. Keylon, Zachary P. King, Dakota R. McCowan, Kaley M. Mitchell, Kevin M. O'Rear, Kalyn A. Roberts, Maria C. Rogers, Molly K. Shaw, Taylor B. Smith, Rebekah L. Spahr and Mckayla L. Travis of Dayton; Zachary T. Dye of Grandview; Kelci J. Frederick and Allison M. Sachs of Evensville and William N. Garrison and Ashley H. Stewart of Spring City.
