Residents of a south Dayton neighborhood are again speaking out against the Generations/Gaither purchase of homes near Market Street and Cherry Street for use as homes of the mentally ill.
At a Dayton City Council meeting on Monday, residents pushed the council to attempt to stop the installment of the homes. However, city officials said there is little they can do since private property rights must also be afforded to Generations/Gaither like they are to other city residents.
