The City of Dayton and three Dayton police officers have been named in a lawsuit filed in federal court in Chattanooga for their alleged role in a fatal motorcycle crash on Monday, May 26, 2012, in Dayton.
The suit accuses Dayton Police Department officers of leaving the intersection of Black Oak Ridge Road and Highway 27 in Dayton too early during a police escort the city was providing for the Tennessee Defiant Crew Motorcycle Club, according to the lawsuit.
