The Rhea County High School Golden Eagles boys’ soccer team may have lost 5-1 to the Cleveland Blue Raiders in the opening round of the District 5-AAA tournament on Saturday, but not before capturing the most wins for a season in nine years.
Cleveland scored an early goal on a breakaway to go up 1-0, but Rhea surprised Cleveland when forward Jase Jackson answered with a left-footed volley from 20 yards out that floated over the Cleveland keeper’s head.
