Recent rainfall wrecked havoc on Evensville Mountain early Sunday morning after seven individuals and the truck they were riding in were swept away by Piney Creek.
On Sunday at around 2:30 a.m., county emergency service personnel responded to the scene and found one woman stranded in the back of a nearly submerged truck, according to Rhea County Sheriff’s Department [RCSD] Chief Deputy John Argo.
