To say the Rhea County High School [RCHS] softball team’s schedule is busy would be an understatement as the Lady Eagles have played seven games in five days, which included a solid second-place finish at the Rockwood tournament on Friday, April 5, and Saturday, April 6, followed by two tough District 5-AAA losses to defending state champ Soddy-Daisy and McMinn County.

Before the game began, the memory of several family members of the Lady Eagles’ squad who suffered and passed away from Alzheimer’s disease was honored by the team and the fans.
