The 66th Annual Tennessee Strawberry Festival is in the planning stages and organizers are trying to fit activities with the 2013 theme of Strawberries in Space.

The festival organizers held a meeting on Thursday and went over a tentative schedule that had the festival starting on Saturday, May 4 with the Strawberry Pageant and the Kids Fishing Rodeo at Point Park.
