Twenty-three of the nearly 40 dogs that were rescued from Save My Tail Animal Rescue in Evensville after its owner was charged with animal cruelty have landed at a Florida no-kill shelter.

The dogs arrived at Pet Rescue by Judy in Sanford, Fla., on Sunday after volunteers at the rescue heard of the recent arrest of Richard Orlowske, a former county animal shelter volunteer, who ran Save My Tail Animal Rescue.
