The theme for Friday night’s District 5-AAA matchup at Bradley Central was apparent as the Rhea County High School Lady Eagles drained seven 3-pointers, five by Julie Brown and two by Amber Levi, with six of them falling in the first half.  The Bearettes didn’t hit any treys but held on to win 43-29.

The trey theme continued into the boys’ game, as the Eagles’ Jalen Smith hit two 3-pointers in the first half to Bradley’s 10.  Smith would eventually hit four in the game, but the Bears knocked down 12, which made the difference in their 81-59 tilted win over the visiting Eagles.
