Citing the release of information to the public and media, the Rhea County Commission voted to cease workshop sessions at a special-called meeting on Saturday.

Rhea County Commissioner Ronnie Raper said that after a workshop session, information is released to the public and media before the commission votes on issues in a regular meeting the following week.
