After a 3-game skid, both of the Rhea County High School (RCHS) basketball teams trailed at halftime on Friday but used each of their second halves effectively and claimed two key District 5-AAA victories over Ooltewah, with the Lady Eagles winning 51-37 and the Eagles 61-56.

After trailing 17-14 at the break, Lady Eagles’ head coach Shane Johnston lauded his squad’s 27-0 third quarter performance.
