The Rhea County High School (RCHS) wrestling team will host ‘The Day of the Duals’ on Saturday, Jan. 19, at 10 a.m.   ‘The Day of the Duals’ was set up for teams in each region to get an opportunity to wrestle all of the teams in their region that they have not gotten to compete against before the regional tournament.  There will be seven wrestling teams from Region 3-AAA competing in various dual team matches.
Teams participating will include Bradley Central, Cleveland, Cumberland, Greenback, Rhea County, Stone Memorial and Walker Valley.  Please join in and support the RCHS Wrestling Team for the great day of wrestling competition against some of the top teams in Region 3-AAA and the state.  Admission is $5 for students and $7 for adults.  Concessions will be available.  This will be the last home event for the RCHS wrestling team this season.

The Rhea Family YMCA is now holding registration for an adult basketball league for ages 18 and older.  Registration will run through January and the season will run from January until March.  The cost is $300 per team.
In addition to the league, the YMCA will host an adult league tournament, beginning on Friday, Jan. 18, and running through Sunday, Jan. 20.  Each team will be guaranteed three games in this single elimination tourney.
