Despite a gutsy 34-point performance by Rhea County High School's Jalen Smith, the Eagles fell 63-59 to the Lincoln County Falcons in their final game of the Wildcat Classic at Hixson High School on Saturday.
"We came out Saturday for our last game, and I talked with the team about having fun," said Eagles' head coach Mike Phillips. "I told the team not to worry about things and just to go out and have fun, play hard and just enjoy yourselves out there. I did see that and I thought we played a whole lot better."
