Dec. 3, the future of his service on the school board is still unknown.
Fisher was charged with possession of both a Schedule II and Schedule IV controlled substance as well as driving under the influence of an intoxicant and possession of a weapon while under the influence of an intoxicant. Rhea County School Board Chair B.J. McCoy said he could not comment on the incident since it is a legal matter but confirmed that under state law, the board cannot remove Fisher from office.
