The Rhea County High School basketball teams traveled to Sweetwater and put their unblemished records on the line in this young season and came away with a clean sweep as the Lady Eagles handled the Lady Wildcats 45-26, while the Eagles dismantled the Wildcats 51-23 on Tuesday.

“We came with a high level of energy at the very beginning tonight and that enabled us to build a nice lead at halftime,” said Lady Eagles' head coach Shane Johnston.  “But, credit Sweetwater for playing hard the whole game and keeping it interesting in the second half.”
