Rhea County law enforcement officials said Monday that a body found in the Tennessee River on Saturday is that of 60-year-old missing Texas man Thomas Snow.

Construction workers found Snow's body on Saturday morning under the Highway 30 bridge, according to Rhea County Sheriff's Department Chief Deputy John Argo.

Law enforcement officials had been searching for Snow for nearly one week after his car was found abandoned in the Yuchi Wildlife Refuge on Breedenton Ferry Road in east Rhea County.
