Amid rumors and speculation of a new district alignment for the last few months, it is official now as the TSSAA voted Thursday to place Rhea County High School in District 6-AAA.
The Golden Eagles are currently in District 5-AAA, which include the high schools of Bradley Central, Cleveland, McMinn County, Ooltewah, Soddy-Daisy and Walker Valley.
