Darrell E. Boles Sr., 67, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013 at Rhea Medical Center.
A lifetime resident of Spring City, Darrell was the son of the late James Clyde and Gladys Mae Garrison Boles. He was a graduate of Spring City High School. Darrel was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and served his country during the Vietnam Conflict. He retired from Kayser-Roth after 32 years. Darrell played softball and loved to hunt. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Jackson Boles of Spring City; sons, Eddie (Tammy) Boles of Spring City and Lee (Samantha) Boles of Sale Creek, Tenn.; daughter, Denise (Richard Wood) Boles of Spring City; brothers Charles (Linda) Boles of Kingston, Tenn. and Larry (Mary Jo) Boles of Evensville; sister Janice (Dale) Kennedy of Englewood, Tenn.; grandchildren Will, Tyler and Matt Boles and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Everett Powers officiating. Interment will be Friday, Nov. 15, at 2 p.m. at the Spring City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
