Theresa Darlene Hickey- Pendergrass

Theresa Darlene Hickey- Pendergrass, 55, of Spring City, passed away at the Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville, Tenn. on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013. She was born in Rockwood, Tenn. on Oct. 25, 1957 to Charles William and Edna Irene Gillespie Hickey. She graduated from Rhea County High School in 1975. She was employed by Spring City Manufacturing Company and Kayser-Roth Hosiery Company in Dayton until she retired in 2006. Mrs. Pendergrass attended Euchee Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Spring City. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Alvin Ulysses Pendergrass; sons, Chundra LaMar (Kimberly) Pendergrass of Dayton and Marcus Quennell (Carol) Pendergrass of Madison, Ala.; grandchildren, Jaycee Paige Wheterbee, Mya Chantell Pendergrass, Aniesha Chiffon Pendergrass and Kameron Maliek Pendergrass, all of Dayton, Elizabeth Rebekah Pendergrass of Memphis, Tenn., Jordyn Kelis Pendergrass of Houston, Texas, Mason Vyann Pendergrass of Madison, Ala. and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her eighth grandson any day, Major Vick Pendergrass; brothers, William (Kimberly) Gillespie and Charles Hickey of Spring City and Stefan Hickey of Dayton; sisters, devoted twin sister, Vanessa Hickey of Spring City and Rene� (Charles) Wyatt of Dayton; sister-in-law, Tracy Hickey and devoted Goddaughter and niece, Charlee Swafford of Dayton and a niece
The family will receive friends on Sunday, Oct. 20, from noon until 2 p.m. at the Euchee Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 2 p.m. Interment and burial will be held at Euchee/Gillespie Cemetery in Spring City.
