Lois Ann King, 61, of Dayton, died Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013 at Erlanger Medical Center.
She was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie H. and Nellie M. Hickman; daughter, Paula J. King; sister, Wilma L. Hickman and brother, Charles A. “Buck” Hickman.
Survivors include her husband, Carlos P. King; two daughters, Charlotte A. Henley and Ellen M. (Tommy) Pelfrey; sister, Janet M. King; four brothers, Jinks, Jimmy L., Sodi and Dute Hickman; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; many special children she cared for over the years and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Giddens officiating. Burial will be at Rhea Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday.
