Hiley Brady Smith (71)

Hiley Brady Smith, 71, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 21, 2013, at Horizon Health and Rehab in Manchester, Tenn.
Hiley was born and raised on a large farm in Spring City, where he was a master equestrian, riding and showing horses all over the South and winning many awards. He loved hiking. traveling and being outdoors.
He graduated from Spring City High School in 1959. He received a degree in agriculture from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville. Tenn. in 1964. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Spring City.
Hiley married Sarah “Pat” Patton of Dayton and had three children, Karen Smith, Connie Smith White, and Chris Smith, all of Manchester, Tenn. He loved and adored his two grandsons. Ian and Lucas.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Wayne and Lois Monday Smith; a brother, Paul Smith and sisters, Ailene Thompson and Mary Ellen Holland. In addition to his children, Mr. Smith is also survived his wife, Wanda Smith; brother, Jennings Smith; sister, Helen Kincannon and brother-in-law, Jimmy Holland, all of Spring City and sisters, Cecile (Bobby) Lowe of Chattanooga, Wilma Tallent of Knoxville and Anna (Mike) Huddleston of Woodstock, Ga.
A celebration of life will be held graveside in Spring City at the Spring City Cemetery at a later date.
