Edward Earl Janow, 81, of Dayton, died Friday, May 24, 2013 at Rhea Medical Center.
Earl was a lifelong
resident of Rhea County. Earl was
a soldier for the Lord in the truest sense.
This gentle giant, always selfless, compassionate and loving, didn’t leave the world rich in material but he was a millionaire in regards to this spiritual wealth. He was extremely well versed in the Bible and practiced its teachings on a daily basis. Earl also loved his Tennessee Volunteers, Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Braves. He was also a member of Morgantown Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Malisie Clark Janow; parents, Edward Young and Icy Pitts Janow; and two brothers, Lucas and Lindsay Janow.
Survivors include his daughter, Brenda Woody of Hixson, Tenn.; son, David Peak of Dayton and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 22, at 3 p.m. at Destiny International Ministries in Dayton with Rev. Dale Sharpe officiating.
