Betty Puera Riddle Knight (92)

Betty Puera Riddle Knight, 92, was called hole on Thursday, April 25, 2013 to be with her Lord.
Betty was a longtime member of New Union Baptist Church and served as Sunday school teacher for many years. Even though she had been unable toattend church for the last few years, she loved her church, her church family and her ministers.
She retired from the position of office manager for Rhea County Nursing Home where she worked for 18 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R.B. “Boss” Knight; parents, Roy and Edna Waller Riddle and sister, Jeannie Bishop.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Richard (Karen) Knight of Dayton; granddaughter, Sarah (Matt) Campbell; grandson, Adam (Amy) Knight and four great-grandchildren, Ayden and Ava Knight and Sawyer and Graham Campbell.
Betty’s family would like to thank Dr. Alan Crews, Amedisys Home Health and Amedisys Hospice for the excellent care they have given Betty over the years.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Pastor Rob Armstrong and Dr. Danny Ruehling officiating. Betty will be laid to rest next to her husband in Rhea Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service.
