Mabel Frances Creasman, 76, of Dayton, died Friday, Dec. 14,
2013, in Dayton. She was born in Hixson, Tenn. the daughter of the late Grover and Addie
Mannon Beene. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Harvey Creasman; daughter,
JoeAnn Everett; sister, Mary Agnes Burchard and brother, Franklin Hamill.
Mabel lived in the
Mountain View community for many years and was a graduate of Soddy-Daisy High School. She
retired from Robinson Manufacturing, then worked for S & S Sportswear. She also
volunteered as a Gray Lady at Rhea Medical Center. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist
Church in Madisonville, Tenn.
She is survived by her daughter, Tedra Everett of Graysville; two
granddaughters, Hope (Andres) Velasco of Dayton and Tonya (Hugo) Ramirez of Graysville; five
great-granddaughters; two great-grandsons; her two sisters, Lucille Burchard of Soddy, Tenn. and
Elizabeth Goins of Dayton and her special friend, Betty Colvin of Dayton.
Funeral services for
Mabel will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Vanderwall Funeral Home. She will be
laid to rest in the Pleasantview Cemetery in Graysville.
