Edna Mae Logan, 83, of Dayton, passed early Monday morning, Oct. 14, 2013, at her home. She was born March 16, 1930, in Dayton. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lattin Belle Rogers; her husband, John Edward Logan; her two daughters, Anna Rogers and Diane Logan and her three sisters, Adele Rogers, Lorraine Cartwright and Josephine Tulloss.
A lifelong resident of Dayton, Edna was a cook at Pierce’s Restaurant for 30 years. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Edna is survived by her son, Vincent Logan of Dayton; sister, Georgia Mae Pankey of Dayton; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Edna will be held Thursday at 5 p.m. in the chapel of Vanderwall Funeral Home with her pastor, Rev. Robert Henderson officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Pinecrest Cemetery in Dayton.
