Lewis B. Brown, 93, of Dayton, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013 at his residence.
He was a lifelong resident of Dayton. He was a member of the U.S. Navy serving aboard the USS Missouri during World War II. He was a member of American Legion Brady Williams Post 100.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Brown; granddaughter, Janet Toews and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his three children, Fay Wilson and Ben Brown both of Dayton and Janice (Ron) Toews of California; brother, Paul (Jeanette) Davis of Dayton; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Walls officiating. Burial will be at Rhea Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Monday from noon until time of service.
