Beverly “Bubbles” Monday, 57, died Thursday, May 23,
2013 at her home.
Born in Elyria, Ohio, she was the daughter of George
Jackson “Jack” and Vida Holloway Monday.
Bubbles graduated from the Murray Ridge School in Elyria and after
graduation she worked in their workshop.
She moved to the Spring City community from LaGrange, Ohio in 1989. Bubbles was a special needs person. She loved to sing, dance, swim and spend time with her
family. If you ever needed a prayer,
Bubbles was there to send it. She was
a member of the Wolf Creek Baptist Church in Spring City.
Bubbles was preceded in death by her father, George
Jackson “Jack” Monday and brother, Robert “Bob” Monday,
Survivors include her mother, Vida Holloway Monday
of Spring City; sisters, Jacqulyne Monday Bias of Spring City and Jessie “Shelly”
(Jerry) Gurley of Dayton; brothers, Anthony “Tony” (Nancy) Monday of LaGrange,
Ohio and Jason (Hope) Monday of Trenton, Ga.; 13 nieces and nephews and 18
great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 26, at 2 p.m.
at Wolf Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Forgey and Rev. Robert Hurd officiating. The body will lie in state one hour
prior to the service at the church.
Interment will be Tuesday, May 28, at 12:30 p.m. in the Chattanooga
National Cemetery. The family will
receive friends Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Robert “Toby” Tauton, Chase
Tauton, Jesse Bias, Andrew Monday, Jeremiah Gurley, Keith Peavyhouse, Rusty
Fisher and Jeremy Monday.
