Gordon “Bo-Diddley” Bohannon, 71, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on
Saturday, May 25, 2013, at his home.
He was born
in McMinn County, Tenn. and was a longtime resident of Rhea County. He attended Gospel Tabernacle in
preceded in death by his parents, Dailey Grady and Lillian Small Bohannon and
four brothers, Clifford, Hoyt, Ralph and Otto Bohannon.

Decatur, Tenn.; three stepchildren, J.B. (Jennings) and Lynette Brooks of
Dayton, Cindy and Dan Hendrick of Spring City and Kim Goins Hughes of Dayton;
daughter-in-law, Glynda Bohannon of Dayton; grandchildren, Joe and Ella Kate
Scott, Benjamin, Bailey and Bradley Bohannon and Brandon Hendrick and several
nieces and nephews.
services were held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday with Pastor Jerry Feathers, Donnie Cox
and Douglas Graham officiating.
Burial will be at Buttram Cemetery.
