Oakley Grace Allen Cooper, 94, a resident of
the Roddy community of Rhea County, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at the Renaissance
Terrace in Harrriman, Tenn. She was born July 13, 1918 in Beaver Dam, Ky. to
Rev. Daniel Edgar Allen, Sr. and Oakley Brown Allen. Mrs. Cooper was a member
of Bethel Baptist Church in Roddy. She was a former elementary school teacher
in the former Eureka Elementary School in Rockwood, Tenn.; and later was a
caregiver for many people in their homes. In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by her husband, William Roy Cooper; son, Clayton Allen
Boisvert; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her sons, James Richard
Cooper of the Roddy Community of Rhea County and Woodley Jacques Boisvert &
wife, Dolores of Norfolk, Va.; grandchildren, Stacy Brovo of Norfolk, Va, Mark
Boisvert of Norfolk, Va. and Judson Boisvert of Brockton, Mass.; great-grandchildren,
Dejuan Boisvert, Isabella Brovo, and Eli Brovo and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday, April
19, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Funeral services will follow on
Friday, April 19, at 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Evans Mortuary. Family and friends
will meet for graveside services and interment on Saturday, April 20, at 2:30
p.m. in the Lynnhurst Cemetery, 2300 W. Adair Drive in Knoxville, Tenn. An
